Guam Department of Education Computer Virtualization Lab

Crystal led the effort to donate and contribute products and services to the Guam Department of Education to prototype a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Learning Lab to Daniel L. Perez Elementary School of Guam in April 2011.  Using equipment and software donated by its many partners (NetApp, IBM, Citrix, Blue River, Commercial Data Systems, World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT), APC, Accelera Solutions, Microsoft, and the United States Air Force), Crystal has installed a 15-workstation lab that will launch students at Daniel L. Perez Elementary into the modern age of computing.

IT Education Priority for Guam Leadership

In August 2011, Crystal invited Guam Lieutenant Governor (LtGov) Raymond S. Tenorio (left) to see first-hand the nearly completed VDI Learning Lab prototype at the local Daniel L. Perez Elementary School.  LtGov Tenorio is not only focused on bringing modern computing and information technology capablities into the schools of Guam but also Guam Govenment operations and management.
