Harris Kansas ANG

In partnership with Harris Corporation, Crystal designed, furnished and implemented a stateless desktop workstation solution for the Kansas Air National Guard (KANG) Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) located at McConnell Air Force Base (AFB). This contract was awarded in September 2010 and was successfully completed on schedule and within budget in November 2010.

This VDI effort included the following:

Designing and implementing the solution, which consisted of IBM storage and server solution, using CITRIX, Cisco networks equipment and Wyse Xen thin clients. This 50 thin client implementation was successfully completed on a firm fixed price basis.
Assisting the client to develop, test and certify its several gold disk images for the different personnel and their respective functions for the NOSC as well as helped the ANG address the corresponding internal security policy changes necessary.
