October 2011 - Crystal has been awarded a contract with the Guam Department of Education (GDOE) to design and install a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) for initial use in its central administrative office and later at all GDOE schools and satellite office sites. This installation, to be completed by year-end 2011, will be a core enabler for GDOE to realize its Gateway to Success** vision of advancing students’ academic achievement, improve administrative efficiency, and enhance communication through the use of technology. Crystal President, John Lehman, states: “ Our Crystal Team looks forward to and values the opportunity to deploy our proven VDI solutions as a key basis for increasing students’, teachers’ and administrators’ access to computing devices and other IT tools in the Guam public schools and GDOE central office.” Joining Crystal as valued partners to accomplish this benchmark undertaking are Blue River Technologies and Accelera Solutions.
**Gateway to Success is a Guam Public School System (GPSS) 2008-2011 Technology Plan with primary goal of improving students’ academic achievement through the integration of technology in the teaching and learning arena.
August 2011. Crystal invites Guam Lieutenant Governor (LtGov) Raymond S. Tenorio to see first-hand the nearly completed prototype Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Learning Lab at the Daniel L. Perez Elementary School in Guam. Using equipment and software donated by its many partners (NetApp, IBM, Citrix, Blue River, Commercial Data Systems, World Wide Technology, Inc (WWT), APC, Accelera Solutions, Microsoft, and the US Air Force), Crystal installs a 15-workstation lab that will launch students at Daniel L. Perez Elementary into the modern age of computing. Guam LtGov Tenorio is not only focused on bringing modern computing and information technology capabilities into the schools of Guam but also Guam Govenment operations and management.

August 2011. Crystal wins $279,756.49 contract with the U.S. Air Force (USAF) at Hurlburt Field Air Force Base (AFB).
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Demo
May 2011. Crystal Management joined by partners NetApp and IBM hosted a demonstration of Crystal's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)/Multi-Level Security (MLS) solution for participants of the 2011 Korea LandWarNet Conference, May 17-19in Seoul, Korea. Crystal's unique solution includes an integration of not only NetApp and IBM products, but also software from Citrix and Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions (RTCS), and compatible thin client (TC) hardware from any of a number of vendors to include WYSE, HP and other. Following the conference, and based upon expressed customer interest, Crystal and its partners are participating in a pilot sponsored by the Theater Network Operations and Security Center - Korea (TNOSC-K) under the 1st Signal Brigade and in coordination with the Communications Enterprise Services Office - Korea (CESO-K) to demonstrate functionality of the VDI/MLS solution in the Korean theater C4I enterprise.

April 2011. Crystal leads an effort to donate and contribute products and services to the Guam Department of Education to prototype a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Learning lab.
NTT Engineering Lab
February 2011. Crystal is awarded a contract to provide a classroom/engineering lab environment to include servers, software and thin client workstations. Crystal provided design, setup and verification services, installed and configured Trusted Computing Systems (TCS) Multi-Level Security (MLS) software, and training services.
Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions (TCS) Reseller Agreement
January 2011. Crystal fully executes a reseller’s agreement with Raytheon TCS to provide its cross domain solutions to the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) U.S. Military installations as well as Japan and Korea.
Kansas Air National Guard (ANG)
September 2010. Crystal is awarded a contract to design, furnish and implement a stateless desktop workstation solution for the Kansas Air National Guard (ANG) Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) located at McConnell Air Force Base (AFB).
