US Army ITA DCIN

Crystal has supported the DCIN/PCIS contract since 2005, and continues today. Crystal developed the transition plan for the DCIN/PCIS, including the transition of assets and O&M functional unit, from implementation agent to full life cycle support agent. Crystal also developed a performance-based statement of work based on industry best practices for long term life cycle support of all US Army Pentagon Data Center Enterprise activities.

The DCIN/PCIS effort included the following:

  • Provided analysis and consultation on the existing and future operational structure and processes to support the Information Technology (IT) Enterprise environment managed by Washington Headquarters Services (WHS).

  • Identified key process improvements in the IT Enterprise, providing greater efficiency and cost savings, and a strengths-focused core mission for the IT Enterprise groups.

  • Provided assistance in the acquisition process by leading acquisition strategy discussions, conducting market research, and preparing acquisition documentation.
